Wijnand van den Hoek

I am Wijnand van den Hoek, born and raised in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, and a proud father of two beautiful daughters.

From a young age, I have always been passionate about drawing and creating. I started making art for my own home, which quickly caught the attention of others. Soon, friends and family began requesting pieces, and through word of mouth, more and more commissions followed.

I work in both digital and traditional mediums, choosing whatever best suits my inspiration at the moment. Whether it’s photography, acrylic paint, or digital techniques, my art captures the world as I see it—constantly revealing new layers and details with each look. Rather than limiting myself to a single style, I experiment freely, allowing my work to evolve organically.

For me, every painting is a journey—an exploration of color, movement, and emotion. My pieces invite you to join me on this adventure and see the world through my eyes.
